SIC is a closed-end, alternative, real estate collective investment undertaking of private subscription, which is hetero-managed, whose purpose is the investment of funds received from shareholders in real estate, stakes in real estate companies or in participation units or shares of other real estate investment undertakings.

SIC’s investment policy is currently passive, consisting merely of the holding and management of the initial real estate, in a medium to long-term perspective and throughout SIC’s duration, aimed at maximising the value of the assets and, in this way, increasing the value of the interests owned by the shareholders.

SIC’s assets on the present date, derived from the conversion of the pre-existing company, comprise the property located in Fórum Coimbra Shopping Centre.

SIC will steer its investment policy by principles of rigour, profitability and risk, with a view to maximising the value of the shares through careful selection of the assets, predominantly real estate, to enable generating income for SIC, both from real estate rents and their appreciation over time.

SIC’s assets should be geographically concentrated in Portugal, although properties located in countries of the European Union and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development may also be eligible, according to the emerging opportunities ascertained by analysis of the situation and likely evolution of the market at any given time.

SIC’s investments may be simultaneously directed to commercial and service, logistic and industry, residential and other segments, with a view to obtaining income and/or capital gains.
